Queen Mother’s art collection to go on show

A personal collection of watercolours and drawings that belonged to the Queen Mother have been chosen for this summer’s special exhibition at the Queen’s Gallery in Buckingham Palace, London, UK.

The exhibition comprises 75 pieces, from the Queen Mother’s first portrait to paintings to commemorate her 100th birthday, and include artists such as John Piper, Dennis William Dring, Graham Sutherland, Felix Topolski, Sir Hugh Casson and John Bratby.
