ROSCA 1500 rides into Saltex
On display by SISIS at IOG Saltex recently was the company's ROSCA 1500 brushing system for synthetic turf.
A ride-on system, it comprises a pair of mid-mounted oscillating brush units and three rear-mounted 'S' brushes.
The oscillating brushes are used to keep infill mobile, preventing algae accumulation, surface compaction and loss of porosity. The infill level is maintained at a constant depth, giving consistent playing characteristics, and preventing pill damage caused by reduced infill levels.
The 'flicking' action of the brushes is designed to be thorough and effective yet gentle enough to avoid damage to the synthetic grass fibres.
The rear-mounted 'S' brushes are designed for routine frequent use to lift the pile and remove scuff marks, with the outer brushes able to fold for transport and storage.
Powered by an 11.5hp Briggs & Stratton engine with electric start, the ROSCA 1500 can also be used to tow the SISIS SSS/1000 sweeper and other implements from the SISIS range.
