ResortSuite releases tablet-based food and beverage ordering app
ResortSuite, provider of hospitality management solutions, has released a new tablet-based food and beverage ordering app, TabletSide POS.
ResortSuite TabletSide POS allows a server to take an order quickly, and the order immediately sent to the kitchen printers for preparation.
It synchronises real-time with the full ResortSuite F&B module for
up-to-date menu and guest information.
It also has an automatic offline mode in situations where the WiFi may
drop out in certain areas within a dining venue. The order is taken without issue and as soon as the server is
within WiFi range the tablet syncs any outstanding orders to be sent or revised.
Frank Pitsikalis, ResortSuite founder and CEO said: "This allows the F&B staff to have relevant guest information at their fingertips and quickly take orders, be it directly at the table, by the pool or even in-room and away from WiFi access".
ResortSuite's TabletSide POS is part of the ResortSuite Operations framework, which delivers specific and functional tools on tablet-based devices, including iOS and Android-based tablets.
These tools are designed for spa staff to use when they are face-to-face with their guests.
Other ResortSuite web tools for mobile and tablet devices include ResortSuite PMS Check-In for
on the go and in-room guest registration and check-in, while ResortSuite Mobile provides separate guest-facing apps for hotel guests and club members.
