Property tycoons the Reuben brothers have reportedly made a £100m bid for Northern Racing, the company that owns Chepstow racecourse.

The Sunday Times claimed that the brothers might be planning to merge Northern Racing with Arena Leisure, which they already have a 14 per cent stake in.

Northern Racing, which owns nine racetracks across the country, recently hired NM Rothschild to finder a buyer for the business.
