Second Aqua Sheko site opens in London
Spa operator Aqua Sheko has officially opened its second site in Soho, London, UK.
Founded by entrepreneur Karen Ho, Aqua Sheko is based on a fish therapy concept and all the spa's treatments involve the use of omnivorous garra rufa fish to gently remove dead skin.
The treatments are usually limited to foot and hand treatments, but the Aqua Sheko also offers guests the option of submerging themselves in full body tanks full of fish.
The company has also introduced a pop-up version of the concept, which allows it to operate smaller-scale fish spas outside London.
It has already run a temporary fish spa at the Selfridges department store in Birmingham, UK, during the Christmas shopping period.
The Soho site follows the opening of the first Aqua Shoko in June 2010.
