Sentosa Cove looks for marina developer
Sentosa Cove has launched the public tender for its Marina.
The tender is for the Marina Club House, Marina Basin and annexed tennis courts and bidders will be invited to design, build operate and maintain the facilities.
There is also an option to build and operate a public ferry terminal at the Marina for guests wishing to travel in and out of Sentosa Cove and the Southern Islands.
“This is no ordinary marina we are creating, but an entire community revolving around this leisure boating lifestyle,” said Bernard Kong, CEO of Sentosa Cove.
“The leisure boating business is a growing one and when this new marina is up and running, Singapore will become a key leisure boating hub.”
The marina, the only oceanfront residence available in Singapore, has the capability for 240 wet berths and will also have pontoon berths for 10 mega yachts.
Sentosa Cove is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sentosa Leisure Group and recently appointed Jennie Chua, chair and CEO of Raffles International, as its new chair. Chua replaces Alan Choe who retired at the end of March.
