Wigan leisure trust installs Technogym Easy Line system
Wigan Leisure and Culture Trust (WLCT) is installing the new Easy Line training circuit from Technogym at its Howe Bridge and Robin Park sports centres.
A spokesperson for WLCT said the 16-piece set of circuit training equipment uses hydraulic resistance pistons to provide extra support while exercising making it ideal for users of all ages and particularly those who find traditional gyms intimidating.
Martin Eden, WLCT's executive director for sport and healthy living, said: "We are introducing this equipment because we believe it will open the door to many people who normally wouldn't enjoy working out in a traditional gym environment.
“It is a further commitment to provide excellent equipment to our Profiles gyms and creates another opportunity for people across the borough to become more physically active in a comfortable environment." Details: www.wlct.org
