Skiing, skating and boarding set to join core fitness activities
The new FT3 Freestyle Trainer launched recently is designed to capitalise on the growing interest in skiing, skating and boarding.
Developed by Triple Edge and similar to a treadmill, the new machine enables users to undertake all three sports whilst adding to the fitness benefits of their existing exercise programmes.
Brainchild of former GB Olympic and World Cup skier, Tim Dudgeon, the FT3s genuine simulation of the sports required extensive research into the equipment used, which includes specially adapted skis, BMW’s StreetCarver board and in-line skates.
Triple Edge chair, John Hammond, said: "Club owners and managers are looking for a way to put fun into fitness and increase the motivation of their members. The FT3 has been proved to do exactly that. It’s a revolution in fitness equipment."
