Singapore-based lifestyle property developer Oxley Holdings Limited will launch a 207-bedroom So Sofitel Hotel and a 590-key So Sofitel Residence in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Both the hotel and residence will be part of a large, mixed-use development that will include an office tower, retail mall and two luxury hotels with residences. Set to open in 2020, the hotel hopes to attract the young, affluent traveller seeking a more avant-garde, fashion-led and social hotel experience, the company said.

The hotel will include a So Fit gym and a So Spa, and the residences will feature a lounge, extensive gym and yoga room. Spa details are not yet available, but Sofitel’s So Spa concept features the brand’s signature French approach to spa, including spa menus inspired by French cuisine.
