The importance of self-care for leaders discussed at Soho House New York
On 5 April, Soho House New York will host Curated Conversation: Self-Care For Leaders – a conversation between Janera Soerel, founder of Second House, and thought leader, innovator and key advisor in the pro-social sector, Joanne Heyman.
The event is in partnership with the concierge, fitness and wellness company LIVunLtd, as part of their LIV Well wellness service.
“Our brand essence is built around thought leadership and we are always seeking to discover the latest, most compelling roads to wellness that extend beyond the treatment room,” said Michael Fazio, chief creative officer, LIVunLtd. “Our mission is to be the influence that defines the urban cosmopolitan skyline, and we believe companies like Second House are influencers.”
Ideal for leaders who lose sight of their own wellbeing, or for those who demand more and more from themselves and their team, Seorel and Heyman will discuss a range of practical self-care insights, tools, and share a philosophy of leadership that fosters transformational growth.
Suitable for all types of entities – from start-ups to non-profits, to corporate or freelance gigs – Seorel and Heyman will also take a fresh look at the needs and challenges faced by those who have taken the helm of a project or enterprise, and provide tools to enable them to stay on top of their game.
"Thought leaders in wellness have long understood that the recipe for wellness includes many facets of healing that extend beyond the treatment room, and we love how Second House incorporates this philosophy into their innovative approach to the shared economy industry,” said Wendy Bosalavage, president, spa & wellness, LIVunLtd.
