Yorkshire-based industrial equipment company, Ryetec, has added a seeder attachment to its range of Professional flail/scarifier collectors.

Five operations on a sports field or golf fairway can now be undertaken on only one pass with tractor and machine – mowing, scarifying, rolling, collecting and re-seeding – providing an ideal opportunity to improve grassed areas without disturbing playing surfaces or interrupting play.

Power for the rear mounted seeder comes from the tractor’s 12v electric system and the seed is dropped into a series of slits in the scarified ground. The sowing rate can be accurately metered by using a screw adjustment to vary the size of hole through which the seed falls.
