Spa Life UK 2021 rescheduled following lockdown extension
Industry event Spa Life UK has announced its 2021 conference at Wyboston Lakes Resort, Bedfordshire, has been rearranged for 2 – 3 August 2021.
The Spa Life team made the decision following UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s announcement on 15 June that there would be a four-week delay for the planned easing of English lockdown restrictions on 21 June.
The government is now working towards a final unlocking deadline of 19 July instead.
“This minimal deferral of just three weeks means the much-anticipated reunion of our spa community can proceed as a whole-hearted celebration of success and resilience of our industry without the restrictions which may have otherwise impacted the event experience,” said Andrew Hammond, Spa Life director and founder.
Hammond told Spa Business the absence of restrictions will mean the event can welcome the waiting list of buyers, suppliers and other companies who were unable to attend previously due to capacity limits.
Founded in 2010, the event offers a combination of networking opportunities, dedicated meetings, exposure to new product innovations and management education over the two days.

The conference schedule will be split into two streams – Leadership post-COVID and Sustainability – and focus on issues that present the most consistent challenges for senior spa professionals.
Annual industry accolades The Good Spa Guide Awards will also be presented at the event during the conference’s gala dinner.
Hammond said he remains excited to help reunite the industry at Spa Life UK 2021.
