Spa launches in heart of Lake District
A 5,000sq ft (465sq m) new luxury health and beauty spa has just opened within the Lake District National Park in Cumbria, UK.
Located within the Salutation Hotel, but with its own private entrance, Oxley’s at Ambleside in South Lakeland has six treatment rooms, a manicure and pedicure suite, a Vichy wet room and a relaxation lounge.
The spa also boasts a swimming pool, sauna, steamroom, restaurant and fitness suite.
Designed by Blue Fish Spa – who were also responsible for the Oxley’s spa at Underscar in Keswick, Cumbria – the spa will use Li’Tya products, a beauty spa range based on ancient Australian Aboriginal healing principles, alongside ISHI Therapy and Skin for Life.
Michael Kay, director of Blue Fish Spa said: “The Oxley’s brand is already well known in the Lake District, we felt the time and opportunity was right to introduce a second luxury spa in South Lakeland.”
The company is currently looking for further opportunities to roll out its Blue Fish spa concept to other UK properties. Details: www.bluefishspa.co.uk
