Swissôtel agrees deal to manage Foshan hotel
Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts is set to open a new deluxe hotel in Foshan, Guangdong Province, China by the middle of 2008.
The company has signed a management agreement with Foshan Heng’an Real Estate Co which is developing the city’s tallest building, the 50-storey mixed-use Foshan International Plaza.
The hotel will cover 13 floors of the tower and boast 213 rooms and suites, four food and beverage outlets, an Executive Club Lounge, a spa and fitness centre and conference and meeting facilities.
Located close to the city’s business centre and financial district, the property will mainly target business travellers.
Foshan Heng’an Real Estate Co is a subsidiary of Jing’an Chengjian which also owns the Swissôtel Grand Shanghai, which is set to open next year. Details: www.swissotel.com
