Ripped Gym opens in Harlow, London
A new £500,000 dedicated-bodybuilding gym has opened in Wych Elm Harlow, London, and has attracted over 200 members in its first five weeks.
Ripped Gym, a family-owned and operated facility, boasts 73 pieces of Hammer strength equipment supplied by Life Fitness and the VR3 Heavy Weight range, supplied by Cybex. There is also 26 pieces of CV equipment and a Cage, complete with boxing ring, a matted area and nine punch bags and speed balls. Equipped for amateur and pro-athletes, the gym also offers personal training.
The 16,500sq ft facility also includes a boxing and martial arts facility called Ripped Fight Club; catering services focused on sports nutrition; a juice bar; a diet supplement shop and a sports rehabilitation facility. Michelle Mead, owner of Ripped Gym, is planning to open two more Ripped Gyms in the next 10 years.
