EZE Fitness, the leisure management company, has appointed Mencap as its chosen charity for 2007 and aims to raise £40,000 for the organisation.

Each of EZE’s nine clubs will be running a series of events – including schemes called Active@Work, Walk it Off and Adopt a School – to help reach the target.

The company will be hoping to promote Mencap’s work, with particular focus on Mencap’s WorkRight scheme, which is designed to help employers who want follow best practice in employing people with a learning disability.
