Freedom Leisure has completely re-opened its Uckfield Leisure Centre following an eight month redevelopment.

The £700,000 project, funded by Wealden District Council and Freedom Leisure, included improved parking, a new entrance lobby, refurbished squash courts, a refurbished sauna and steam room in the health suite, in addition to a retiled changing area with walk through cubicles and showers.

The work is part of a £7.4m programme of development, spread between Wealden’s four leisure centres.
