I’m in! Duncan Bannatyne heads Down Under for TV show I’m a Celebrity…
Leisure entrepreneur Duncan Bannatyne is swapping life as a gym magnate for a stint in the jungle after he was revealed as one of the contestants for this year’s I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
The 66-year-old owner of the Bannatyne Group – which spans a wide portfolio of health clubs, hotels and spas – had been rumoured to be taking part in the Australia-based show for several weeks.
Bannatyne will now head into the jungle with 11 other famous faces – including former boxer Chris Eubank, footballer Kieron Dyer and Spandau Ballet singer Tony Hadley – ahead of the ITV show’s series opener this Sunday (14 November).
The programme is notorious for pushing celebrities to the limit, with the dreaded Bushtucker Trials seeing stars eat disgusting animal parts or get up close and personal with rodents and reptiles.
