Tamara Lohan, co-founder of boutique hotel travel specialists Mr & Mrs Smith, will open the Spa Life Conference on Wednesday, 16 November in Telford, England.

Lohan is an entrepreneur and technology strategist with a background in marketing. In 2002 she co-founded Mr & Mrs Smith with her husband James, and has been responsible for evolving the company’s digital infrastructure ever since.

As CTO, she has overseen the development of the in-house booking engine and proprietary availability-management systems, alongside the iOS app and responsive global websites for Mr & Mrs Smith and its sister brand Smith & Family – a collection of child-friendly and family stays.

Today, the brand operates from offices in London, New York, LA and Singapore, and has more than 1.5 million members worldwide.

The Spa Life UK Conference takes place on Wednesday 16th November and may be booked separately or as part of a two-day package that also includes one-to-one meetings on 15 November.

A supplier showcase and expo will take place on both days.

The full day Conference programme - which now features a special track exclusively for CEO's and senior managers - has been developed to help improve the quality of management education to the UK’s spa and wellness sector.

The Spa Life Conference will be opened with keynote addresses from inspirational business leaders and prominent industry figures, followed by a comprehensive programme of Continuing Professional Development for existing and aspiring spa operators and owners.

Spa Life will also host an industry event in Germany in May 2017.
