Bounce opens £1.3 trampoline park in Peterborough
Trampoline park operator Bounce has opened its second UK site in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.
The 31,000sq ft (2,900sq m) centre – designed and built by leisure specialist Createability – has more than 100 interconnected trampolines, capable of accommodating up to 150 people per hour.
Facilities include a gladiator foam pit, dodgeball court, fitness challenge zone, gymnastic runways and a slam dunk area.
Bounce, which opened its first site in Milton Keynes in 2014, has invested £1.3m in the Peterborough site.
Bounce is owned and operated by Rebound Leisure Group, which also owns the JumpBoxx brand of indoor trampoline centres. Rebound is headed by founder and managing partner Gary Knill.
Rebound is currently developing a third site – in partnership with Createability – which is expected to open early 2017.
Brian Thompson, commercial director at Createability, said: “Trampoline parks are a growth area for the industry and we worked closely with the client to ensure the design of the Peterborough Bounce Park optimised the space available and provided the right combination of activities for all to use.”
