Ye Olde Bell peals back curtain on new spa
The spa, which will stretch to 17,000sq ft (1579sq m), will offer ten hot and cold experiences including a custom-made ‘snowstorm’ experience – the only of its kind in the UK – Sabbia Med sunlight therapy, a steambath, a salt cascade room, a rasul, a Swiss pine sauna, a mineralising a stone bath, a herbal laconium, a shower walk and an indoor-to-outdoor hydropool.
Located in the rural village of Barnby Moor – on the tri-county border of Nottinghamshire, Yorkshire, and Lincolnshire – the spa will feature two double treatment rooms, four single treatment rooms, a hair boutique and express salon.
LB Therapies, which has had a beauty salon in the hotel for the past four years, will offer a complement of therapeutic and rejuvenating face and body care treatments. Products on offer will come via European skincare house Germaine de Capuccini and boutique British cosmetic brand Delilah.
The spa is built over two floors with a reception sat by a sweeping central staircase and glass panelling. It was designed by Spa Vision spa director Sadie Ardron-Levack and LB Therapies’s Lizzie Bath. The interior design was led by Hilary Levack and Tonia Wynne of Homestead Interiors.
