Developer chosen for £23m Derbyshire Spa project
The Trevor Osborne Property Group (TOPG) has been chosen to develop the £23m Buxton Crescent and Spa project in partnership with CP Holdings by the High Peak Borough Council and Derbyshire County Council.
The Crescent and Spa buildings are located in the centre of Buxton while the entire site is included within the Central Buxton Conservation Area.
Aside from the spa, which would be located in the Natural Baths site, other development proposals also include a restored ballroom and function suite for the Crescent building, a relocated Tourist Information Centre on the ground floor of the Crescent and an Interpretation centre, showcasing the unique history of the Crescent alongside the development of Buxton and its spa origins.
The next stage of the project will be to prepare the final proposals for the Heritage Lottery Fund and other potential funders.
