NEOU launched into the Brazilian market with on-demand service in Portuguese
Digital fitness platform NEOU has launched an on-demand service in Portuguese.
It is the first of a number of non-English language instruction services the company plans to launch as part of an international expansion strategy.
Portuguese was chosen as it is the official language spoken in Brazil – home to a booming fitness market.
One of the largest wellness markets in South America, it is expected that fitness-related revenues in Brazil will reach US$506m during 2021.
Following the launch of the Portuguese-language services, NEOU will introduce Spanish and Mandarin later this year.
The classes available through the "non-English content" will include strength, yoga, and bootcamp, with plans to extend into other fitness genres in the future.
"We're excited about the opportunity to enter new international markets," says Nathan Forster, CEO, and founder. "Offering multi-language content will enable us to expand our reach as we continue to make high-quality fitness and wellness more accessible."
US-based NEOU offers live streaming and on-demand wellness content and experiences generated by more than 100 studios and instructors.
The content is available from any phone, tablet, computer, or TV.
