The Polar BodyAge system

By Mark Edmonds    19 Aug 2009

From Polar comes the BodyAge system, a tool designed to give gym goers their 'true' body age and operators the ability to generate new revenue.

A client's 'body age' is generated through a series of tests and comparisons against their peers, with results presented via a range of colourful graphs and reports.

The system is also able to provide users with an obtainable Body Age score to aspire to, tracking their progress along the way.

Operators can use the system to introduce members to personal training sessions, with Polar claiming that personal training consultations could rise by as much as 30 per cent.

Additionally, there is also a portable version that can turn a laptop or computer into a health management system. It is suitable for use on all Windows versions from Windows 95 onwards.
