Vail is an ideal destination to implement Well & Being’s evidence-based concepts and we couldn’t be more excited to introduce our first mountain resort facility

Luxury alpine destination Vail Marriott Mountain Resort has relaunched its spa and wellness offering, following a US$6m resort-wide refurbishment.

Developed and managed by boutique spa operator, Trilogy Spa Holdings, the 8,830sq ft Well & Being centre focuses on comprehensive sports-recovery, offering evidence-based healthy living services.

The concept, created by integrative medical expert Dr Tieraona Low Dog, features cryotherapy, vibration therapy and halotherapy (salt therapy), while the resort includes an illuminated Himalayan salt inhalation therapy room to aid muscle recovery.

The spa menu offers customised treatments to meet individual recovery needs, such as requesting power percussion spot work to alleviate shoulder tension or spot joint treatment to ease inflammation.

In addition, muscle-relief massages can be enhanced with a variety of recovery options such as cryo-cold packs and muscle gel for fatigue relief.

The seven treatment room spa offers traditional spa treatments from Intraceuticals, Knesko and Hyperice such as facials, massages, wraps and scrubs. Well & being Vail has also partnered with Hydrafacial, Lancer, Villa Floriani, and Body Bliss to supply treatments.

Located adjacent to the wellness facility is a 24-hour Life Fitness-equipped gym which includes Peloton stationary bikes.

With design by Simeone Deary Design Group, the Colorado facility is constructed to reflect the mountain landscape with Swiss design elements.

David Stoup, Trilogy Spa Holdings chair, said: “Vail is an ideal destination to implement Well & Being’s evidence-based concepts and we couldn’t be more excited to introduce our first mountain resort facility.”

This is the fifth Well & Being Spa for Trilogy – with other sites at Fairmont Scottsdale, Four Seasons Dallas, Red Rock Resort and Casino Las Vegas and El San Juan Hotel.

Trilogy manages properties on behalf of other companies, with a focus on luxury brands such as Guerlain and Natura Bissé, as well as developing and managing its own concepts.
