Fife Sports and Leisure Trust (FSLT) has confirmed the addition of a new multi-use facility to its portfolio after taking over the management of Duloch Leisure Centre in Dunfermline.

The trust worked with owner Fife Council to bring the centre's fitness suite into line with its other venues, investing £220,000 in a renovation and the replacement of equipment. Duloch Leisure Centre will benefit from a 52-station gym fitted with Technogym cardiovascular and resistance machines, as well as an upgraded outdoor 3G synthetic playing pitch.

FSLT chief executive Ed Watson said: "Extending our sports and leisure provision to include one of Fife's fastest growing towns is a significant boost in delivering out health and fitness strategy. "Making sports and leisure opportunities as accessible and affordable as possible to local communities and encouraging participation in sport and fitness activities is a priority for the trust."
