Tubenbach opens at Schlitterbahn park
One of the world's longest waterpark rides has been unveiled as part of the new Tubenbach area at Schlitterbahn New Braunfels Waterpark in New Mexico, US.
The Falls is one of a number of experiences unveiled at the waterpark, with many of the new attractions connected using the Transportainment river allowing tubers to stay in the water. Guests can enter the 3,600ft (1,097m)-long Falls at a series of locations, with the experience offering a continuous river that also features an AquaVeyer conveyor belt lift hill.
New attractions also include the Deluge Whirlpool River; the Boogie Bay Heated Pool; and the Butterfly Bayou Kids' Area, along with new Treehaus lodging units and new beaches. Schlitterbahn New Braunfels Waterpark general manager Darren Hill said: "Not only do we feel that this is the most thrilling new collection of attractions to open this year in Texas, but we are also honoured to introduce another world record-breaking ride for our guests."
