Life Fitness strengthens team to meet local authority demand
Fitness equipment manufacturer Life Fitness has appointed two new account managers as it expands its team to meet growing demand from the local authority and trust sector.
Ross Nixon, who has more 10 years’ experience in the fitness industry, will cover Scotland in his role, while Adam Upton will have responsibility for southern England. Upton has held a number of roles in the industry, including positions at PureGym and Virgin Active.
David Connolly, Life Fitness local authority and trust manager, told Health Club Management that what local authority leisure operators were now offering was changing rapidly, with many investing in digital technology, the inclusion of functional group training areas and spa facilities.
“Life Fitness has a wealth of experience within the rapidly evolving local authority and trust sector and as well as delivering premium fitness products, we’ve responded to developments in the sector with advanced digital technology and a team to deliver the necessary expertise,” he said.
On the appointments, he added: “Both Ross and Adam bring valuable skills with their high levels of expertise and knowledge, as well as being incredibly passionate about fitness and wellbeing. We’re delighted to have them on board and look forward to working with them both.”
