easyGym accelerates apprentice scheme in partnership with Icon Training
Budget gym operator easyGym has partnered with UK training provider Icon Training.
The partnership has been enabling easyGym to recruit apprentices who are being trained up the company’s ethos and will eventually become a part of the easyGym team. Through working with Icon Training, easyGym has been taking on more apprentices and is currently employing a minimum of one per site.
The scheme gives young people support from Icon Training’s Ofsted grade 1 skills tutors, while working in an environment where progression is a high priority. Lucy Walton, training and quality manager at easyGym said: “Our need for apprentices is growing all the time. Previously, our training was done in-house, so working with Icon Training has taken this workload away and enabled us to take on more apprentices.”
