VisitBritain plans to increase the £3.7bn spent annually in the UK by international business visitors by marketing Britain as an unrivalled social and sporting destination at this year’s IMEX – an incentive event for meetings and business travel – in Frankfurt, Germany.

Around 6,000 buyers are expected to attend the event, which is held from 30 May to 1 June.

VisitBritain will join 22 UK tourism suppliers in the Britain Pavilion to inform corporate buyers about the variety of British destinations and venues for meetings or corporate events.

VisitBritain will also supply a specially designed wall planner featuring key corporate events and a detailed map of the UK. Details: www.visitbritain.com/business
