Warner Bros reveals secrets of the Matrix
MATRIX REVEALED – the Official Matrix Experience is the new attraction drawing visitors at Warner Bros Movie World Australia on the Gold Coast.
In a world first, guests have access to a variety of original sets and props from the movie, Matrix Reloaded, which smashed the Australian box office record in its opening weekend in May.
The opening of the new attraction at the Australian theme park is timed to coincide with the release of the third and final instalment of the film trilogy – Matrix Revolutions – this autumn.
MATRIX REVEALED is a walk-through experience that brings to life the continuing story of movie characters, Neo, Trinity and Morpheus in their ongoing struggle against the machines and Agent Smith.
In addition to presenting artefacts from the movie, Warner Bros Movie World’s in-house team have worked with Infograms, distributors of the official Matrix game, to add interactive elements to enhance the attraction.
Queensland-based Brandi Exhibitions worked in close consultation with the park on the design and build of the project. Mark Gatt, who was a foreman on the set of Matrix Reloaded and Matrix Revolutions, reassembled the sets and props, which were originally made in Australia. Details: www.movieworld.com.au
