Legoland Florida starts hotel development
Legoland Florida is making a bid to become a multi-day resort, having broken ground on a vibrant new hotel.
With a multicolored exterior and entrance, the hotel will feature 152 brightly coloured and highly themed rooms and suites, Lego inspired décor, interactive play areas, a pool and a restaurant.
General manager, Adrian Jones, says the new hotel will benefit the local economy: “The opening of a Legoland Hotel will transition Legoland Florida from a single day visit theme park to a multi-day resort destination. This will serve as a catalyst for future economic development in Polk County.”
The park has more than 50 rides, shows, attractions, a waterpark and an interactive splash battle ride.
This is the fifth Legoland hotel to be development. There are existing hotels at the parks in California, Windsor, Billund and a fourth is soon to open in Malaysia.
