Doubling the size of the existing centre, the 40,000sq m convention centre will represent Australia’s largest exhibition space. The Sydney Entertainment Centre will be replaced with an 8,000 seat venue.

The new development is expected to be ready in four years and is forecast to generate up to AUS$200m a year for state coffers.
