Plans for the construction of a new community sports stadium in High Wycombe are to be discussed by the local authority in January.

It follows a public consultation into the Wycombe Community Stadium and Sports Project, which took place between 17 September and 29 October. Wycombe District Council (WDC) revealed that it has had one of the largest responses for a planning consultation, the feedback from which will now be analysed.

Findings from the consultation will be compiled in a report, along with work carried out by independent focus groups, to be put before the cabinet.
