British Rowing has created a retail line of replica kit with its official sportswear partner, Mizuno.

The kit is the same as the one that the GB Rowing Team trains and competes in, and is designed to make fans feel like they’re “part of the team.” It includes t-shirts, polo shirts, fleeces, splash jackets, leggings, rucksack, caps and visors.

Kenny Baillie, director of Partnerships and Communications at British Rowings, talking exclusively to Sports Management says: “Since launching the Mizuno GB Rowing Team official replica kit range we’ve seen nearly a 400 per cent uplift in sales via our online shop. This is a promising start and testament to the strength of our brand and demand amongst fans to buy kit that allows them to show their support for the GB Rowing Team.”

Baillie adds: “In 2018, we’re planning to develop the official replica kit range further and hope to make it available to purchase at a range of rowing events.”
