European expansion for Golfzon
Golf simulator producer Golfzon is actively expanding into Europe - with a particular interest in the UK market - and is looking for partners.
Golfzon offers four versions of their simulator - two boasting their swing plate mechanism, which moves to match the ground on which the ball sits - and the remaining two allowing both left-handed and right-handed golfers to play with ease.
Said to be easy to assemble and maintain, the simulator features 3D graphics and thousands of photos, to create authentic representations of more than 140 golf courses around the world - players can even see clouds drifting by and grass blowing in the wind. Courses featured include St Andrew's Old Course, Pebble Beach (host to this year's US Open) and the venue for the 1991 Ryder Cup, Kiawah Island.
The simulator’s My Swing Motion system also allows each golfer to store their playing history while the remote play facility means that players can compete against friends or colleagues remotely. The analysis system comprises more than 170 horizontal and vertical infrared sensor components, capable of accurately measuring speed, trajectory, hook, slice, draw and fade.
Overseas business team manager Daegyu Jung said: “We are delighted to be bringing our range of simulators to the UK. Our products appeal not just to those dedicated to golf but are an all-round entertainment in their own right. We believe they will appeal to the broad mass of golfers, whatever their standard.”
Full technical support is also offered via Golfzon's head office team.
Golfzon has sold more than 10,000 golf simulators in 2,800 golf centres worldwide since the first model was introduced in 2002. Golfzon is headquartered in Korea and is a market leader in both Japan and China.
