GLL invests in Legend technology
Leisure trust GLL has extended its contract with software provider Legend Club Management Systems.
Legend software was initially installed across the GLL estate at the end of 2010 on a four-year contract, and this term has now been extended until 2016. The company provides GLL with its core business system, including database, sales and retention, direct debit administration, management and KPI reporting, front of house systems, including e-POS, access control management, bookings, kiosk, and self-service e-commerce solutions including smartphone apps, customer portal, join online and web bookings.
So far, Legend has assisted GLL with a fast track kiosk project, including high availability kiosk hardware, which has so far seen over six million uses; a smartphone app which has enabled over two million smartphone bookings since its delivery; and a new, fully integrated online ticketing solution for the opening of the London Aquatics Centre in April 2014.
The comprehensive solution is provided on Legend’s cloud based, high availability infrastructure running across two data centres.
