GRAVITY Training proves popular at Everyone Active
Leisure centre operator Everyone Active has embraced GRAVITY training with more than one third of its centres in the South East region now offering classes to members.
Three more centres – Watford Leisure Centre Woodside, Southall Sports Centre and Harrow Leisure Centre – have installed Total Gym machines and will be offering a range of the popular GRAVITY classes from GRAVITY Strength to GRAVITY HIIT.
GRAVITY sessions are beneficial for exercisers of all abilities and can be offered on the Total Gym equipment in a GroupX, small group, team training or a PT environment. Users lie, sit or kneel on the moving glideboard and use their own bodyweight as resistance. The percentage of bodyweight being lifted can be adjusted in a matter of seconds between 1 per cent and 62 per cent to suit individual ability. All muscles in the body can be targeted on the Total Gym with a library of more than 200 possible exercises.
Jamie Sweeney, South East regional fitness manager at Everyone Active, said: "Functional training equipment forms a big part of our fitness offering. The versatility of GRAVITY training on the Total Gym, along with the opportunity to generate secondary revenue from both GRAVITY PT and small group classes, is why we will continue to put this equipment into our centres.
"We are committed to providing our customers with the highest quality fitness experience and GRAVITY training helps support us in our mission."
