Independent Gyms announces first-ever two-day gym operator conference

By Michael Emmerson    10 Oct 2025

Independent Gyms are proud to announce the return of the Gym Operator Conference, taking place on Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th November 2025 at Cranmore Park, Solihull.

For the first time ever, the conference will run across two days, bringing together the very best of the UK’s fitness community.

This year’s event is set to be the biggest and most impactful yet, with:

• 500 gym operators in attendance

• 60 exhibitors from leading fitness brands and service providers

• Four speaking stages covering business growth, operations, marketing, and industry trends

• A dedicated Group Exercise stage helping owners maximise the impact of traditional and new group exercise offerings

• Level UP by Your PT, co-hosted onsite, focusing on freelance and in-gym personal training education

Designed to unite and support the fitness community, the Gym Operator Conference is also open to the wider commercial fitness industry for the very first time, making it the must-attend event for anyone running a gym, managing a fitness facility, or looking to launch their own fitness business.

"Exhibiting at the Gym Operator Conference has been invaluable for our business. The event gave us direct access to hundreds of decision-makers from independent gyms, all genuinely interested in discovering new solutions. The conversations we had not only generated leads on the day but have since turned into long-term partnerships. It’s by far one of the most productive events we exhibit at each year.” – Tom Alder, Origin Fitness.

"As a gym owner, attending the Gym Operator Conference was a real turning point for me. The speakers were incredibly insightful, and I came away with practical ideas I could implement straight away in my business. On top of that, the chance to meet other operators and share experiences was invaluable — I left feeling more confident, connected, and inspired about the future of my gym." – Charlotte Wood, Namix Performance.

“With two days of education, networking, and inspiration, this year’s Gym Operator Conference is our most ambitious yet,” said Robert Handy, Founder of Independent Gyms. “It’s the perfect opportunity for gym owners, operators, and fitness professionals to connect, learn, and take their business to the next level.”

Early bird tickets are now available at 50% off – offering exceptional value for those quick to secure their spot.
