Rapid Retail's portable shops and retail units made an appearance at the UEFA European U21s Championship held in Sweden.

Working in conjunction with sporting goods retailer Intersport, Rapid Retail provided two trailer units to all four tournament venues: Malmo, Gothenburg, Helsingborg and Halmstad.

As well as designing, fabricating, fitting and supplying the units, the company also took on the responsibility of recruiting, training staff and managing the merchandising shops on behalf of Intersport.

The two companies previously teamed up at the EURO 2008 Championship in Switzerland and Austria.

Intersport's Head of Event Licensing & Merchandising, Martin Kempkes, says: "Based on the great partnership we experienced with Rapid Retail during EURO 2008, we were convinced that they were the right partner for us to supply and manage our two on-site retail shops during this tournament."
