Tanita launches the new MC-800 body composition device
What does a premium body composition experience actually look like? It starts with the measurement itself.
The new the new MC-800 sits at the intersection of precision and prestige design.
Simon Wilkinson, Tanita's head of sales (EMEA) for fitness and sport, said: "Designed for high-end environments, the MC-800 combines Tanita accuracy with a refined, design-led presence that elevates the entire assessment experience".
The MC-800 is built on Tanita's multi-frequency, 8-electrode BIA technology – the same approach trusted in clinical and research settings worldwide, with up to 98 per cent correlation with the 4-compartment model. That translates to fast, reliable readings across muscle mass, fat distribution, visceral fat and metabolic health.
But the premium device isn't only accurate, it seamlessly fits into wellness environments. With tempered glass, aluminium finishes and a clean, minimal design, the MC-800 is built to complement, not compete with, the space. It reflects quality before a single measurement is taken.
In terms of interface, the MC-800 replaces the traditional console with a flexible, tablet-based interface chosen by the client and powered by the Tanita App Universe. The app provides real-time data, intuitive operation and seamless workflow integration, on a device teams already knows how to use.
And it’s built to last. Durable, stable and grounded in over 80 years of Japanese engineering, it’s designed for daily use in demanding, premium environments.
Because when every detail matters, body composition shouldn’t feel like an add-on – it should feel like a statement.
