Sports venue technology event held in London this month
A two-day event charting the latest developments in sports venue technology will be held in London this month.
Organised by Major Events International (MEI), the Venue Technology and Operations Seminar will act as a knowledge-sharing forum by bringing together service providers, suppliers and operators. It will be one of four regular events annually.
Taking place on 16-17 March, attendees will have the opportunity to meet potential new partners while being offered insight by leading experts in the fields of stadium and major event operations.
The event has been split between a site visit around London’s Olympic Park on 16 March and a day of seminars on 17 March hosted by IPT Design.
Reinaldo Pargas, head of technology at the Brazil 2014 World Cup, will deliver the keynote speech while a panel discussion will chart future trends in event technology. Other notable speakers include Alex Balfour, former head of new media of the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG).
The events are free to attend but require pre-registration. Priority is given to Major Events International members. For more information – and to register for the event – click here.
