Active IQ has unveiled its new sister company, the Active IQ Academy, to provide eLearning and online resources to help training providers deliver active leisure courses.

The new eLearning library will feature units across a wide range of topics, such as customer service; leisure operations and management; and personal training.

Specialist units are also available through the new Active IQ Academy, which will feature the management of low back pain; obesity and diabetes; and exercise referral.

Active IQ Academy director Yvonne Cooper said: ""We saw an opportunity for the Academy to reach more learners and potentially lower delivery costs for training providers, resulting in more accessible, flexible training.

"The Academy will work closely with apprenticeship providers, colleges, commercial training providers and employers to help them standardise course content and increase learner engagement with interactive eLearning."
