IHHR Hospitality Pvt (IHHR) – the company probably best known for its destination spa Ananda – In the Himalayas – has reportedly established links with the International Therapy Examination Council (ITEC) and the Confederation of International Beauty Therapy & Cosmetology (CIBTAC) for its new institute, which will be situated in Hyderabad, India.

According to Express Hospitality, the Ananda Spa Institute will tie up with ITEC and CIBTAC for its body and beauty courses, in order to provide qualifications for its students with internationally-recognised bodies.

Training programmes at the institute, which will be situated in the grounds of the Hotel Istra and open by March 2008, will be offered in a variety of different sectors, including beauty, body, yoga and ayurvedic therapy.
