Anytime Fitness flexes its muscle in booming New York State – targets 25 new openings
Franchised fitness giant Anytime Fitness has set out plans to open 25 new clubs in the state of New York – with a specific focus on the cities of Rochester and Buffalo.
Anytime currently has 34 locations in the booming New York market and has now set out to secure strategic franchise partnerships in the area to expand its footprint.
Specifically, it is looking to open 13 new locations throughout Rochester and 15 in Buffalo – all through single or multi-unit agreements. The company aims to open the planned new locations within the next three years.
According to Tim Arpin, Anytime's vice president of franchise development, the brand is "poised for explosive growth throughout the state".
"With an increasingly health-conscious population, an open real estate market, and multiple successful existing franchisees, New York is an obvious and attractive area for continued growth," Arpin said.
"People with a passion for health and wellness, who are truly seeking a way to invest in making a lasting and meaningful impact in the lives of others, are exactly the type of franchise partners Anytime Fitness is looking for."
Chuck Runyon, co-founder and CEO, added: "We're not looking to simply grow a franchise brand – we're looking to grow and help individuals reach their specific goals and achieve a healthy, happy lifestyle.
"We're searching for local entrepreneurs who share our passion for building relationships and helping others so that we can achieve that vision in communities across the state."
