The British Institute of Innkeeping (BII) has launched the first ever apprenticeship dedicated to the pub and licensed hospitality sector.

Marketed as an alternative to a university course, the scheme will look to attract individuals within the industry wishing to improve their long term career paths.

Upon completion of the apprenticeship, individuals will receive an award acknowledged and recognised across the industry and in wider workforce training.
