Stoke Mandeville Stadium plans £50,000 fitness investment
Buckinghamshire's Stoke Mandeville Stadium - the national centre for disability sport and home of the Paralympic movement - is to invest £50,000 in expanding its fitness provision.
The installation of new equipment is due to take place on 17 August and will see the facility offer an additional 22 pieces of plate loaded equipment. The gym will reopen on 18 August.
Star Trac is supplying the equipment, while Matrix will provide Livestrong-branded bicycles and crank cycles. Stoke Mandeville Stadium is operated by Leisure Connection.
Stadium business development and marketing manager Ian Seabrook said: "We believe the new equipment will encourage individuals of all abilities to use our facilities."
