The very latest in fitness gadgets, Fitbug is a pedometer and computer system that can provide users with an all round picture of their activity levels.

Designed to play a complementary role to gym membership rather than as a replacement for it, the pedometer, or 'Bug', measures steps accumulated, distance travelled, time spent exercising and the amount of calories and fat burned in the process.

Data from this can then be downloaded to www.fitbug.co.uk where personalised exercise programmes are supplied and nutrition advice given.

In the future the company will be releasing a Personal Training module to allow PTs to login and monitor their clients activity levels online. Following on from this, it has plans to distribute Fitbug through fitness clubs and also via PTs.
