Bowlplex to reopen Poole site next week
Dorset-based Bowlplex is set to reopen its Tower Park centre in Poole on 21 July following a £1.25m revamp to bring it in line with the company’s other bowling and entertainment complexes.
Once the 12-week refurbishment is complete, the 32,000sq ft (3,000sq m) centre will include 24 lanes of bowling, a late-licenced Stadium Sports Bar with big screen sports, a restaurant, Video World arcade, a dance floor and an American Pool Pit with six tables.
Managing director Tracy Standish said: “The fit-out of the Tower Park Bowlplex has been very successful and visitors will see a huge difference in the centre.”
The company, which boasts an annual turnover of more than £26.5m now operates 16 Bowlplex sites throughout the country. In April this year it opened a site within the new Xscape leisure complex in Braehead, near Glasgow.
