24 Nov 2004

Sue Campbell, the chief executive of the Youth Sport Trust, will be stepping down in February 2005 to become chair of the Trust.

Steve Grainger will become the new chief executive while the current chair, Sir John Beckwith, will succeed the Duke of Westminster and become president of the organisation.

Campbell said: “Steve is an outstanding professional who has been with the Trust since its inception and I know it will go from strength to strength under his leadership.

“In my new role, I will focus on income generation and high level advocacy, particularly working with the corporate sector.”
